It is a pan-African initiative to mainstream and implement the City Wide Inclusive Sanitation Initiative principles in Africa.

Funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the TA Hub's main objective is to support a range of banks and multilateral governments by providing more strategic, flexible and timely technical assistance.

Cabinet EDE International was chosen to host the TA HUB responsible for providing Technical Assistance for the identification, project preparation, detailed design, implementation and evaluation of investments in urban sanitation.

The Hub is structured around a secretariat and a group of experts from the sanitation sector.
