Water

This vital area remains one of the key sectors where EDE develops its know-how.

INTEGRATED WATER RESOURCE MANAGEMENT

The establishment of the IWRM approach should be participatory, involving civil society, private society and the authorities.
In order to make this approach operational, EDE supports the main players in the identification and implementation of the main concepts through:

. Studies in the integrated management of water resources in watersheds.                      . Groundwater and reservoir management.                      Technical and social support to NGOs, grassroots communities.

DRINKING WATER SUPPLY

According to statistics, one fifth of the world's population does not have access to clean water.
In the current situation, the drinking water resources in developing countries are running out very quickly.

This leads them to resort to alternative waters which are not very healthy. In order to help the authorities promote access to drinking water, EDE offers its expertise through:
. Drinking water supply in its institutional, financial and technological dimension.                      . Rural and pastoral hydraulics.
